Firefighters have stopped the fire's forward spread, and the fire remains 35 acres with 15% containment. Crews will continue strengthening containment lines and extinguishing remaining hotspots to increase containment.
Fire has moderated to a slow to moderate rate of spread. There is one spot fire approximately 1 acre in front of the main fire. Crews are actively engaged in suppression efforts.
Firefighters are making good progress on the fire, with air tanker drops and coordinated ground efforts helping slow the fire's spread.
The fire is approximately 35 acres and burning at a moderate to dangerous rate of spread through vegetation. Fire activity includes spotting, where wind carries embers ahead of the main fire, creating new fires in front of the fire's leading edge. Firefighters are actively engaged in suppression efforts from the ground and air.
