The Buzzard Fire is 100% contained.
No change to acreage or containment.
The Buzzard Fire is 902 acres and 98% contained. Firefighters continue to patrol the area to find any remaining smoking embers.

The Buzzard Fire is now 87% contained.
The Buzzard Fire is 895 acres and 72% contained. Firefighters made significant progress on the Buzzard Fire yesterday and overnight. Steep terrain continues to challenge operations. Crews remain on scene today to strengthen control lines and extinguish remaining hot spots.
Buzzard Fire is 67% contained. Steep access is making containment difficult while resources continue to strengthen control lines and mop-up. CAL FIRE resources are assigned.
Evacuation Warnings have been lifted for the Buzzard Fire.
Fire crews continue to make progress on containment of the Buzzard Fire, working through rough terrain, low relative humidity levels, and extreme heat. Containment is still at 25%.
Forward progress was stopped last night. There is still an Evacuation WARNING in place for KRN-535. Fire is 10% contained, as crews continued to work through the night into the morning in very steep and rough terrain.
The evacuation order for zone KRN-535 has been downgraded to an evacuation warning. Remain prepared to evacuate as the threat continues.
The fire continues to pose a potential threat to nearby powerlines and Interstate 5. Evacuation Orders remain in effect, and residents are urged to follow the direction of local officials.
Firefighters continue constructing containment lines, but steep and rugged terrain is making suppression efforts challenging. Ground crews are being supported by firefighting aircraft as they work together to slow the fire's spread.
The Buzzard Fire is now 500 acres with 0% containment. Evacuation orders remain active.
Zone KRN-535 has been up updated to an Evacuation Order.
