The Hatchet Fire is 100% contained.
The Hatchet Fire is now 95% contained.
The Hatchet Fire is now 80% contained. Firefighters remain at the scene working on the construction and improvement of control lines along with extinguishing hotspots.
The Hatchet Fire is now 67% contained.
The Hatchet Fire is now 55% contained. Overnight crews continued constructing the containment line around the fire and patrolling for and extinguishing hot spots.
The Hatchet Fire is 606 acres, 45% contained. Firefighters continue to build and improve containment lines, perform extensive mop-up, and suppression repair is underway.

Access challenges and rugged terrain continue to hamper control efforts, making firefighting operations difficult. In response, the incident commander has significantly augmented both air and ground resources, bringing in additional crews, engines, aircraft, and equipment to strengthen suppression efforts.
More updates will be released as conditions develop and firefighting progress continues.
