The following roads and trails in the Hunter Point and Middle Creek area remain closed: Forest Road 16N26 and National Forest System trails 05401, 85402, 85403, and 85404. These locations are shown on the map.

The Middle Creek, Penny Pines, and Deer Valley campgrounds have reopened. Forest system roads 16N30 (Sam Alley Ridge), 16N01 (Deer Valley) and 17N99 Rd (McCreary Glade) are also now open to motorists.

Temporary Evacuation Point

The Temporary Evacuation Point (TEP), including livestock evacuations, at the Lake County Fairgrounds closed at 3 p.m Monday, Sept. 14.

Residents impacted by the Lucas Fire who need additional assistance or support after the TEP closes should call 2-1-1 for information about available resources.

 

Road Closures

Traffic Control Points remain in place at:
• Hunter Point & Elk Mountain Road
• Bear Canyon Road (Forest Road 16N08) & Elk Mountain Road
