The Palos Fire is now 70% contained.

Due to more accurate mapping, the fire is currently 17 acres and 41% contained.

Two homes and two outbuildings have been damaged. Two injuries have been reported, including one firefighter and one civilian.

Firefighters continue working to strengthen containment and secure the fire area.

All evacuation orders have been lifted for this fire.

The forward progress of the Palos Fire has been stopped. It is 20 acres.
