Forward progress of the fire has been stopped. No structures threatened or damaged. Fire crews will remain on scene to confirm hot spots are out. No injuries are reported. Approximately 100 LAFD personnel attached to the incident.

The York Fire near Highway 2 has caused the freeway to be shut down in both directions. Please avoid the area while firefighters protect structures and contain the fire.
