CAL FIRE NEU Firefighters have stopped the forward progress of the Karchner Fire and report that the fire is now contained.

CAL FIRE NEU firefighters responding to the report of a vegetation fire with one structure immediately threatened off Karchner Road and McCartney Road in Nevada County. Fire estimated at a half acre with a slow rate of spread.
